Computer Savvy

It's a computer age...one I'm still getting to know. I can email, but blogging and face-booking are quite a different world. My daughter, Jenn, let me know that I should check the comments on my blogs...I had to use babblefish to understand some of them. (I did not know there was a site to translate other languages.)

It seems that today we are better connected...we definitely have more information about anyone and anything at our fingertips...one could get all wrapped up in just face-book or blogs. It is fun to catch up on the lives of friends who have come and gone out of my day to day life.

I grew up in a time when staying in touch meant a phone call (extra cost for long distance) or a letter. While we have gained the ability to stay in touch with many people, sending out one message for many people, have we lost the intimacy of face to face conversation or a letter that takes time and thought to write?
